I use a thin application of PVA. Superglue leaves a mist round the glass. Those look like the pilot cars.... Thanks - I was not sure whether yo use PVA or UHU - never Superglue on windows - I found that out the hard way many years ago! They are pilot cars picked from Phil at Acton this year. They were just the bodies a few scratches to the paint and windows missing. I have all the bits apart from the chassis's they are on order from Phil. Something a little different for the layout! XF

Oh, you're making work cars. I thought you were going to make traffic cars.

I am doing both ;D i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc166/XercesFobe/DSCN6523edt3copy.jpgXF Edit: Lovely though your Q stock is, that image is rather large, so I've changed it to a link. Perhaps you could post a smaller size please? See Rule 8d in the forum rules for image guidance. Thanks, DH

The Q23 car is nearly complete and next on the list is the Q27 motor. Updates to follow but at this stage it is likely to be a complete rebuild!

Quick question - What is the best method to secure the body to the chassis on Radley Models Q38 stock.
I finished the chassis and bogies for my 2 -car Q38 pilot set however as I bought these items separately it is not clear what the preferred method is for fitting the bodies to the chassis.
Thanks in advance.
Update - I found a solution I have 4small pieces fitted Plastistrut box section to the chassis and the ends and made the body a push fit

Thats what I do. I have a fixing plate in the middle with a nut and bolt. Be careful with the Q38s, they bow in the middle inwards. News update. The revised Q23/Acton Shuttle is being produced as we speak and looks great. There are new features including new air pipes, ward coupler and different marker light locations. Semi-flush glazing too.

He he! They do warp a bit though. I'm also working on a load of transfers for Pre-1938 stock, H stock, Q stock, 1960 stock, 1967/72 stock and T stock Also got the go ahead to produce an A62 trailer modification kit.
